The Cold Steel blade is made from virtually unbreakable San Mai III® laminated stainless, and features a thin, acutely pointed tip that’s as sharp as the proverbial needle. The Cold Steel blade slices effortlessly through even the most puncture resistant materials. Additionally, the Cold Steel blade has precisely and carefully hollow ground blade which has been honed so sharp, it will shave hair from your arm just as if you were using a straight razor. Cold Steel's Caledonian Edge handle has a paln hugging profile and relatively thin cross sectin that is flat enough the resist rolling and twisting in one's palm, but is comfortable enough to accomodate a wide range of gripping styles. A superstructure of highly polished, black Micarte scales and custom Titanium bolsters use high tech fasteners to make the Cold Steel handle strong, but a very lightweight structure. The leaf spring lock mechanism will protect your fingers and is hand fitted to the closest tolerance possible. Cold Steel Caledonia has proved to be incrediably tough and comes with a stainless-steel pocket clip.
